Welcome to Just Play Golf the Home of Bespoke Golf Programs
Just Play Golf at Penrhys are proud to support and develop the talent and enthusiasm of junior golfers. We offer expert coaching in a fun and relaxed environment for children aged four and upwards.
The programme encourages children to not only learn and develop their golfing skills but also rewards and develops children’s life skills such as confidence, fitness, leadership and teamwork.
Children work their way up through 10 levels of development by achieving various challenges such as volunteering, practicing golf and taking part in physical activity.
Each junior on the programme receives a fun and exciting Junior Golf Passport Log Book where they can record their achieved challenges and Passport progress. When juniors have completed the criteria for each level their achievement will be rewarded with a fantastic Just Play Golf Junior Passport prize.
If you want to pay as you go that’s fine. We understand that children try and change sports whilst they are finding their niche, but we are sure once they try golf at Just Play Golf they’ll want to keep coming back for more.
Each class costs £10 on pay as you go and there is no commitment
My child has a disability, can they still take part?
YES Absolutely. We are completely inclusive and want every child to experience the greatest game, that is golf.

What are Junior Golf Camps?
At Just Play Golf, I pride myself in the support and development of young talent in the game of golf. I’m always looking to encourage juniors to join the game of golf – I believe starting at a young age is key to success, with it being easier to pick up techniques, posture and finesse.
Junior golf camps are a great way for kids to learn the basics of golf. Whether it’s Short Golf on the range, playing on the 9 hole academy course or Footgolf, we have created a fun and relaxed environment for everyone to learn and develop skills whilst growing in confidence along the way.
Juniors of all ages and levels of ability are welcome…
We offer different stages of coaching to suit all levels of ability. No matter the age or skill level, we offer a variety of individual day, three-day and five-day camps which provide an excellent opportunity for juniors to learn, improve and progress in the game of golf. Juniors will be placed into groups based on age and ability on day one of the camp.

Skills development and life long friendships
Just Play Golf is dedicated to allowing young golfers to develop their golf skills but more importantly help them to realise being a better person in the world is far better and more important than just being a good golfer.
They will learn team work, build confidence make friends for life and enjoy the great outdoors all while the iconic Rhondda Valleys sit below and around us.
What about food?
We can provide food if necessary at an additional cost other wise your little golfer can bring a packed lunch.
